Here are our studio policies, received in your confirmation email and also saw when you registered online. Please ask your teacher or call us at 330-655-8499 with any questions. You may also email Kara at firstname.lastname@example.org.
PAYMENT: There is a non-refundable $50 deposit for all classes. Classes are charged monthly on the week of the first day of class and each month at that time until the end of the session. You may un-enroll at anytime with 30 days notice. Notice must be emailed to email@example.com at least 30 days before your scheduled monthly payment. There are no refunds for classes occurring before your drop date. Make up classes must be scheduled and redeemed before the drop date.
CHANGING CLASSES: You may change classes any time during the session if there is an open spot in the class you are interested in at that time. Permission of the program director (Kara) is needed. Call the office at 330-655-8499 if a change is needed.
ADVANCEMENT: Children may graduate up to the next age groups mid-year (January after week 16) in our school year session with the permission of the current teacher. The program director can work with you and your teacher to decide on the right class day/time for your family.
PARENT/CAREGIVER: Only one parent/grown up is permitted to attend class with their child at a time. Classes are designed for one on one interaction and space in our classrooms is limited.
MAKEUP POLICY: We want to help maintain consistency for your child, while preventing overcrowding in your child’s class, and providing convenience for your schedule. Makeups do not carry over to other sessions, but you can do as many as it is possible for us to accommodate within a session. You must pre-register for a makeup to insure there is an open spot in that class on that date. Schedule your makeup by emailing Kara at Kindermusik.firstname.lastname@example.org. There are NO drop ins. Make ups will not be scheduled THE LAST WEEK OF CLASSES due to special awards given and special activities. We don’t want anyone to feel left out. There are no refunds for missed classes.
SIBLING POLICY: Siblings are not permitted in class unless they are enrolled or it is prearranged for a one time visit. In that case, the family must email Kindermusik.email@example.com to schedule the extra child and pay $15 at that time when you are contacted to confirm. There is no one in the lobby to supervise older siblings during our classes and keeping them outside of the glass classroom doors can be very distracting to our young students.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: We cannot guarantee that all classes missed due to inclement weather will be made up. We will make them up to the extent that our calendar allows. No refunds or credits will be given for snow days not made up.
Hudson: Weekday classes will be cancelled if Hudson public schools are closed due to weather. Classes on Saturdays are cancelled at the discretion of the teacher.
Fairlawn: Weekday classes will be cancelled if Faith Lutheran Preschool is closed due to weather.
ATTIRE: We spend a lot of time on the floor. We ask that you wear clean shoes or socks into the classrooms to keep the floor as clean as possible. We suggest comfortable clothes to sit and move in for children and caregivers.
TOYS/DRINKS/SNACKS: are not permitted in the classroom unless there is enough for EVERYONE and the teacher has ok’d it. That being said, we know sometimes babies really need to eat NOW. Feel free to step out of the class to have a drink or snack if it is something other little ones would want to have. Breastfeeding is permitted anytime and anywhere in our classes.
CELL PHONES: Please turn your cell phones off and put them away before coming into class. We want you to enjoy the class time with your child to the fullest. If you want to take pictures, please ask other parents if it is alright with them as some do not want their child’s pictures posted to social media.
